Volunteer Huda takes us through a working day that begins before sunrise and ends after the final patient reaches the care they need.
The road to the village
Huda reviews medicines and supplies with the team before departure. At every stop, the unit welcomes children, pregnant women and older people.
She says the most important daily lesson is listening: understanding each family's circumstances is essential to respectful, useful care.
